We are happy to be offering the same accommodations for the Quiet Season this year. See the new rates here. For those we can keep open into October, or open earlier in May, (it all depends on the water lines) please talk to the office.
We offer full linen supplies (sheets, and towels), but do not offer daily service in the Quiet Season. All Quiet Season units have fully equipped kitchens. Fireplaces, and firewood, are also in every unit, as well as normal thermostatically controlled, forced air heat. All are very comfortable, no matter what kind of inclement or winter weather we are dealt by Mother Nature. The full resort, (dining room, daily room service, and swimming pool) will open again for Memorial Day weekend.
Teal Wing Golf Club is open as long as Mother Nature determines - usually just before Halloween. Golf closes as soon as the winter herbicides are applied, hopefully just ahead of the first snow forecast, usually late October or early November. Golf opens again May 1 to coincide with the fishing opener, and the greening of grass. Remember, GOLF IS FREE when staying at the resort in May and October (that includes Memorial Day Weekend although the resort rates have switched to spring with the opening of the dining room.)
In our true Winter, we have a splendid set of ski trails called the Mukwonago Ski Trails of various difficulty levels. It is s just a couple of miles down the road, and managed by the U.S. Forest Service. We also have several pairs of snowshoes for rent here. Let us know if this will be of interest to you. The lake, frozen solid of course, is a fabulous experience for skiing or snowshoeing. We do not allow snowmobiles on the property because of the danger to the golf course, and our belief in the Quiet of the season and the tradition of the 10 mph on the water in summer. Snowmobiles must be trailered in and out and taken to a trail access – about three miles.

Extra Adults are $30 per night, Extra kids (10 years or younger) are $10 per night. Infants (under 2 years old) are FREE. Pets are always welcome too, $10 per day per pet.
ALL RATES ARE SUBJECT TO SALES TAX 5.5%, but are NOT subject to the service charge which would apply in the main season (because the normal Lodge/resort services are not offered!)
RATES FOR BIRKENBEINER 2010 The same cabins will be open this year; but it seems as if the old party atmosphere of Birkie has been influenced by our rushed world: people are not taking three days to play. So, we have changed a bit. For 2010 we are REQUIRING only two nights, and third night is FREE (in case you can stay a bit longer). Why not come a couple of days early, ski the real trail (Thurs) before they close it for grooming, enjoy some of the citizens races (Friday), and be ready for the Birkie on Saturday. We have also changed it to reflect only the basic number of people; pay for extras only as they are here, say two extra people on Friday. If staying more than 3 nights, the rate applies to two more nights with again 3rd night free.
FOX DEN & BOULDER KNOLL: 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, lovely big kitchens, real fireplace (free firewood). $550 per night, plus tax, for first two nights, third night FREE, covers 8 people. Extra Adults: $30 per person per night, $10 per kid (10 or younger), infants FREE (under 2 yrs).
WOODS HILL: 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, plus one sofa bed, kitchen, real fireplace (free firewood). $450 per night,plus tax, for first two nights, third night FREE, covers first 4 people Extra Adults: $30 per person per night, $10 per kid (10 or younger), infants FREE (under 2 yrs).
BLUE WING SUITE & GREEN WING SUITE: 1 bedroom, plus one sofa bed, full kitchen, fireplace (free firewood) $220 per night, plus tax, for first two nights, third night FREE, covers first 2 people. Extra Adults: $30 per person per night, $10 per kid (10 or younger), infants FREE (under 2 yrs).
It is also possible we might open RED OAK (3 bedrooms) - if you are interested, ask us.
Taxes are 5.5%. Additional persons: $30, Children 10 & under: $10.
DEPOSIT: $300 within one week of reservation to confirm reservation. REMAINDER of balance (including tax): due by New Year please
CANCELLATION: in the event of race cancellation, we will refund 75%. Otherwise, no refund after New Year.
